A: Yes, it is the Borner. As you have noticed, this set does come with four blade inserts. You get the standard 3.5mm and 7mm, but you also get a 1.6mm and 10mm as well.

Q: Hi, from reviews I learnt the Plus model does not slice as thin as the upgraded Power/Pro models. Does this mean the 1.6mm blade will allow to slice paper thin? And achieve the finer dice as the other models? Thanks for your selection and the info-it' rare to see this!

A: The 1.6 mm blade is for julienne cutting and dicing. It is more narrow when compared to the standard blades, or the ones included with the V-Power. With the upgraded versions you get a range of thickness settings for slicing, and this one only offers two.

A: Borner is German, not Swiss, but yes, it is the Borner.
