An Ultrasonic mist maker with three LED lights in the same color. Unlike other models that change and fade colors, this one illuminates with a single, solid color. It has fewer bulbs in total, but the amount of light provided is pretty similar. There are no controls on this model, so you simply plug it in to make it work. What Does It Do?

Once placed into water, it will immediately begin fogging. It doesn't require anything special, and it works with regular tap water. As soon as the level is high enough, you will hear it start working. The mist will quickly accumulate to fill a bowl, and completely cover the top of the water. Once full, the cloud will begin to float out, fly away, and mix with the air in the room. The bright LED lights add to the effect by causing the water and mist to glow and change colors. Enhance water features you already own, or build a unique decoration for certain occasions, or everyday use.

How Does It Work

Nothing magical is involved, and there are no chemicals used either. The mist that is generated is nothing more than pure water vapor that's made in a fairly natural way. Once you plug it in, and place under the water, the ceramic disc will begin to vibrate at high speeds. This rapid movement results in friction and heat that causes evaporation on the surface of the disc. In this way, water from the bowl turns to vapor that floats away. It acts as a natural humidifier, and because it also generates negative ions, it also purifies the air as it runs. Put a few drops of scented oil into the water and it will diffuse that fragrance throughout the room to deodorize naturally.
