Installation Instructions

1. Stake Mount Install: Prepare by screwing the included stake onto the bottom of the fixture. Once tight, simply push the stake into the ground at your desired location. Make sure to press all-the-way in, and recess the stake below ground level.
2. surface Mount Install: Prepare by connecting the surface mount base to the bottom of the fixture. Just twist to thread it in place. Use the included hardware to secure the base to a flat surface. Be sure to route the lead wire thru the opening in the bottom of the surface mount base prior to install.
3. Remove 1/2" outer jacket of material off 50' 12-2 lead wire.
4. Place and attach lead wires to transformer. Connecting (1) lead to the common tap and (1) lead to the 12V Output tap as shown.
5. Run your 50' 12-2 cable to the light fixture.
6. Splice and connect lead from fixture to 50' lead wire.
7. Secure splice using wire nuts provided.
8. Securely wrap connection with black electrical tape, not supplied. (Water tight connection is mandatory to insure reliability)
9. Mount the transformer to a wall and plug it into a receptacle.
10. To test, cover the photo cell. The power should activate, and light fixture should turn on after approximately 40 seconds.
11. You're finished! Remove the cover from the photo cell and the light fixture will turn off.
12. The photo cell can be operated in two (2) formats, using the switch on the rear of the transformer.
13. The "AUTO" setting will turn the light on at dusk and off at dawn. It will power on for as long as it is dark outside.
14. If you prefer, you can set it to run for a shorter amount of time. For example, by placing position switch to "4H" the light will turn on at dusk and run for 4 hours before shutting off. Run time can also be set for 6 or 8 hours, by adjusting the switch position.
