Cooking and prep time: 25 mins
- 10 boneless chicken thighs
- 1 bunch of asparagus
- 1 medium white onion
- 2 tbsp. of garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Trim asparagus on bottom ends to remove all strings. Cut onion
in half then cut into 1/4" slices. Cut asparagus into 2" long
strips. Pour chicken broth into flavor ring. Place chicken,
asparagus and onions on top of grill and cook on low medium
heat for approximately 6 minutes per side or to the tenderness
of your choice. Remove from grill and serve immediately.
Instead of chicken broth, try fruit juice, wine or water in
the flavor ring. If you like, try marinating the chicken
in Italian salad dressing for one hour before grilling. Discard
marinade after chicken is removed.
Any rice recipe would be your perfect side dish. A nice white wine
and garlic bread would finish this simple yet elegant meal.
Instead of thighs, try chicken breast strips, pork cutlets, beef medallions,
sword fish. Use broccoli or cauliflower instead of asparagus.
