A great accessory for any Borner Slicer. Notches at either end allow you to securely mount your slicer right on the bowl. As you slice, everything will fall neatly into the bowl below. You can even use the same bowl to serve your food or store it for later use. The perfectly designed notches coorespond with the shape of each slicer, so they lock in place for a secure hold. As you slice, the two pieces will stay firmly in place to make slicing easy and the clean-up process almost non-existant. Since the hole in the bowl is so wide it can double as a handle when a slicer is attached to the bowl. Once locked in place, it is easy to hold onto both pieces with one hand using the hole in the end of the bowl and the existing grip on each slicer. This aspect enables the user to leave the unit flat on a counter, or hold it at an angle. Whichever is most comfortable.
